The Department of Fiction is the richest department of the library. It provides free public access to 42,000 capital and up-to-date titles of domestic and international literature. Aside from compulsory reading for high schools and faculties, the library provides award-wining books and world and domestic best-selling books. The users of the department are high school students, faculty students and a very heterogeneous structure of adult readers, both by occupation and age. The interests and needs of the users are regularly monitored forming the basis for filling the book collection.
